Having worked with young children with Autism for many years, I thought I would share with you my top 20 list of toys which have longevity, are adaptable, educational and support fine motor and sensory needs. Every child is different, but these toys have been firm favourites amongst many children I have taught. Nothing beats hand-on activities for learning, and my list of toys will provide plenty of fun opportunities for engagement, social interaction and motor skills development.
